• It's unique design appearance is both functional and attractive.
• By using long life LED technology (expected life 100,000 hrs or over 25 years of normal use), the light fitting will last the life of the system and there will never be a need to change a bulb. The system produces a bright white colour. Other colours including Red Green Blue and mixtures of these are available on request. 
• The system uses the Sunlight Micro IV microprocessor based controller as the brains of the system. This enables the system to perform in an intelligent manner. Both the period of operation of the light and the intensity of the light are controlled to ensure both maximum reliability and maximum use of the available energy. The system has an optional serial port connection that enables anyone with a notebook to fully control and monitor the performance of the system. 
• Options include use of decorative multi colour LEDs that can change between colours in almost anyway required to give attractive light effects in gardens or parks.
• The basic system is guaranteed to give a minimum duty time of  6 hours operation in mid winter and 9 hours operation in summer in most parts of the world. In areas where sun levels are high, all night operation in summer can be expected.

• The system can easily be installed without specialist equipment by two people in a couple of hours. The systems uses a tilt base design that allows for secure battery storage and easy installation. It also allows for easy maintenance of the system without special access equipment.

Due to the nature of the LED technology, the direction of the light output is tightly controlled and so no light is wasted. The standard system comes with one light fitting that gives a normal street light pattern. This light arm and fitting is fully adjustable to allow light to be shone wherever it is required. The area covered by the light projected is also variable and can be tightly focused to give an intense spotlight effect or shaped into circle, squares or rectangles to suit particular needs. As more than one light fittings can be added , the system can be supplied to produce a range of lighting options:

• Full 360^o lighting
• 180^o or 90^o lighting patterns 
• Or specialist path lighting profiles where a rectangular area adjacent to the light is illuminated 
• Our controller and the light fitting design is so sophisticated that it is even possible to arrange for "light show" effects where different colours are projected at different times.
• The standard system can be specified in either a general area light (street Light), or as a spot light, configuration at no extra cost

• The LED light system is designed to have a mean life between failures of 20 years operation.
• Controller:
  Sunlight's Micro IV controller able to meet any duty cycle requirements. Comes programmed for Max Mode operation to maximize light output depending on season and weather conditions. It can be fitted with a serial port connector placed at street level for easy monitoring of performance using any portable computer running Windows and our software.
• Panels:
  Australian made high quality poly crystalline panels are used. Panels have a 20 expected year life
  Batteries:
  Australian made high quality Gel batteries are used in all our systems. No maintenance is required for life of the battery. Batteries are guaranteed for 1 year with a mean expected life between failure of 7 years.
• Steel work is manufactured to the highest quality levels, it is engineered  to meet all required Australian standards and is fully hot dipped galvanise for long life.
