The "Aussie SunLight" Series has many advantages:

• It's unique design appearance is both functional and attractive.
• By using long life LED technology the expected life of the LED light source is 100,000 hrs or over 20 years of normal use. The light fitting will last the life of the system and there will never be a need to change a bulb. Light colour in the standard system is white. Although other colours including Red Green Blue are available on request. 
• The system uses the Sunlight Micro IV microprocessor controller as the brains of the system.  Both the period of operation of the light and the intensity of the light are controlled to ensure both maximum reliability and maximum use of the available energy. The system can be fitted with a serial port connection that enables anyone with a notebook to fully control and monitor the performance of the system. 
• Options include mounting systems for use on existing poles or mounting from structures
• The basic 6 hr system is guaranteed to give a minimum duty time of 6 hours operation in mid winter and 7.5 hours operation in summer in south-eastern Australia and most parts of the world. In areas where sun levels are high, all night operation in summer can be expected. Please enquire if you have particular duty cycle needs.
• Two people in 15 mins can easily install the system without specialist equipment
• The Aussie SunLight  is available in Heritage Green, red, blue, yellow, silver and gold.

Due to the nature of the LED technology, the direction of the light output can be very tightly controlled. As a result, the system can be designed with a range of light fitting types:

• Model 360 6 hrs      $1650 ex GST: Full 360^o lighting which will cover an area with a diameter of 7.5 meters
• Model 180 12 hrs    $1650 ex GST: A 180^o lighting pattern will cover a half circle with a diameter of 7.5 meters
• Model 180 6 hrs      $1650 ex GST: A 180^o lighting pattern will cover a half circle with a diameter of 7.5 meters 
• These times are based on operation in South Eastern Australia in mid winter.

Technical description:
These systems use only the highest quality components and are designed to provide a moderate intensity light output for area illumination. The unit uses Sunlight’s patented LED lighting systems and solid-state electronic systems to give a totally reliable light.

 Light Source: The light source is based on  LED technology. As a result the light source has an expected time before failure of 100,000 hrs of operation, this means that in normal operation the bulb system will last for more than 20 years. Changing bulbs is a thing of the past with this system.

• The light can be supplied to provide light either in full, half or quarter circle configurations
• The time of the light operation can be either 6 hours or all night operation.
• Light colours available are white, blue, silver, gold ,red or green. For large quantities or special applications particular colours requirements can be matched
• The light is designed to light an area with a 7.5m to 10.0 meter radius depending on the model based on a unit height of 3 meters from the ground. Recommended spacing between lights is 7.5 meters.

 Electronics: The system uses a patented microprocessor based control system that is designed to ensure light is always available in even the worst of weather conditions. The battery used is a high quality Gel type, zero maintenance, lead acid battery that can be expected to provide 7 years trouble free operation. Eventual replacement of the battery is a simple procedure.

 Structure: The external structure of the light uses only the best of material to ensure a long trouble free life.

• The standard steel pole is fully galvanized. The light head can be fitted to any pole with an external diameter of 48mm. Mounting systems for attachment to walls or other pole sizes and types are available.
• Due to the low windage of the light the light can be mounted on a moveable base similar to that used for sun umbrellas to allow for easy movement from need to need
• Security fittings are provided if required to ensure the unit is theft resistant.
• The product is shipped in a protective box suitable for international shipment Shipping weights are 30kgs for the light head unit and 8.5 kgs for the mounting pole. The light head unit has a shipping volume of 830 by 430 by 580 mm. If required, poles are shipped separately.
